Yes, swapping from Mounjaro to Wegovy, or vice versa, will involve a gap as advised by your prescriber. Mounjaro has a half-life of 5 days, compared to Wegovy’s 7-day half-life. This difference is taken into account when initiating a switch.

Wegovy has generally remained slightly more competitively priced compared to Mounjaro. However, prior to the Mounjaro price increase on 1st September 2025, some Wegovy doses were actually more expensive.
